Affinade with Nyons PDO olives – 90 g

Ingredients: Nyons DOP black olive pulp (95%), Nyons DOP olive oil (5%)

The Domaine Saint Vincent affinade is made from black olive pulp from Nyons PDO, it is a paste of olives with a creamy texture and a touch of olive oil from Nyons PDO, but which not contain herbs or anchovies (unlike tapenade).

Variety

“Tanche” is the emblematic variety of the Pays de Nyons and the Baronnies Provençales. It is the only variety that has been able to acclimatize so well in Drôme Provençale.

Aromas

The affinade is characterized by its pronounced taste which brings out the flavor of black olives from Nyons.

Typicity

Harvested from December to January, the black olive is finely wrinkled by the first frosts. This late harvest gives it its sweetness.

Description

Product to be kept cool after opening and to be consumed quickly.

The affinade can be eaten on toast in salads but can also be incorporated perfectly as a condiment in many dishes (white meats, grilled fish).

It will also go wonderfully with your aperitifs on a simple piece of bread.
